Lapwing House Holiday Home
An above-ground pool is open from the end of May until the end of September each year, and is 4.5m x 5.5m and the water is 1.1m deep.
The garden is approximately 1500m² in size and is set mainly to lawns. There are many fruit trees and vines planted in the garden, so, depending upon the time of year, you can pick fresh figs, apples, cherries, pears, peaches, plums, walnuts, kiwis and grapes. The garden is gently sloped, and has views across the local Marais (wetland valley), where you can see a variety of birds and wildlife. The garden is very private and is not overlooked by the neighbouring properties.
There is a large dining room with an extendable table and plenty of crockery and cutlery for up to eight guests. Double doors open out into the front garden, and at the side there is a set of double doors that open out onto the large sun terrace - with large dining table, chairs, parasol and charcoal BBQ.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. The washing machine is in the hall behind the games room and there are plenty of washing lines provided in the garden to dry your clothes.
The games room is a large and light space, with sliding doors out to the sun terrace and garden. There is a table tennis table, air hockey and table football, plus lots of other toys for your enjoyment. The room also has a sink and food preparation area to use with the BBQ.
All bed linens and towels are provided for you, but please bring your own pool and beach towels, plus cot bedding as required.
A further two bedrooms are located on the ground floor. One bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and is located on a mezzanine level and the other bedroom has two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The house has two bathrooms, one on the ground floor with a corner bath, hand basin and separate WC and a second small shower room on the first floor with shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.
